Any other commercially advertised products may also be used without penalty to the modeler at the various stages of construction. Hardware independent of airframe (visible or not) requiring machining or welding to assure reliability, safety or the required operations of the scale model aircraft such as radio, engine accessories and, undercarriage gear commercially acquired or designed by the modeler for optimum outline accuracy, may be commissioned independently when in the judgment of the modeler commercially available items are not adequate.
